At the CAPE-OPEN 2022 Annual Meeting, Professor Ross TAYLOR from Clarkson University, representing ChemSep in CO-LaN, presented (PDF, 478 Kbytes) on a new feature added to ChemSep. The presentation is co-authored by Harry KOOIJMAN from Clarkson University/ChemSep and by Jasper van Baten from AmsterCHEM.
The new feature is CAPE-OPEN Custom Properties that are here used as a substitute to Petroleum Properties to be covered by the CAPE-OPEN Petroleum Fractions interface specification, not yet released in its new version. The CAPE-OPEN Custom Properties are applied in the simulation of the Exxon-Mobil Benzout process.
