Thermo Special Interest Group met on August 22, 2022 from 10 am till noon (Central European Time).

Agenda

Participants

BASF (represented by Sergej BLAGOV), AmsterCHEM (represented by Jasper van BATEN),   Michel PONS (Consultant as Chief Technology Officer). Apologies for not attending were received from University of Cape Town (represented by Klaus MÖLLER).

Highlights

Starting from the set of slides developed on August 16 with one additional slide provided by AmsterCHEM since then, Thermo SIG added a few slides to make the presentation on the Manager interface specification easier to follow at the CAPE-OPEN 2022 Annual Meeting. Especially a slide was added, explaining what is a Template, while also a new slide gives now several examples of Templates and their Managers.

Revision/modifications were made of slides on each of the three different ways a Manager can create a new Primary Process Modelling Component. Work took place especially on the slide pertaining to the creation from scratch, making sure that the concepts used in explanations given on this slide had been already covered in previous slides.

The new slide package, after some polishing, has been distributed to the Thermo SIG for final review and adoption.

Next conference call is scheduled for September 6, 2022.
