Michel Pons (CO-LaN CTO) attended PSE Annual Meeting 2006 and demonstrated, together with Gregor Fernholz from PSE, a complex gPROMS HIDIC model executing in Aspen Plus.
At the CAPE-OPEN 2006 European Meeting held in Cannes one month before, the same live demo was run with a beta version (beta 4) of gPROMS 3.0. It was then the most recent version of gPROMS 3.0 available at that time. On April 21, gProms 3.0 was officially released by PSE Ltd and used in the demo made in London. The HIDIC Unit Operation model consists of approximately 60000 equations.
