Abstract: COCO by AmsterCHEM is a component based CAPE-OPEN simulation environment. It implements a flow sheeting environment, unit operations, a thermodynamics package, and a reaction package manager. The presentation shows an overview, test cases and demonstrates interoperability. COCO has proven to be a valuable tool for development and interoperability testing.
Note: this is the first time COCO from AmsterCHEM was presented at the CAPE-OPEN community. COFE remains the 1st CAPE-OPEN Process Modelling Environment made available as a freeware.
