PSE-logoPicture of Michel PONSPresentation given by Dr Michel PONS at PSE Annual Meeting 2011 on June 9, 2011 in London, UK.

The presentation discusses various possible ways to develop Unit Operation models while emphasizing the benefits of CAPE-OPEN. According to the programming skills of the unit operation modeller, one can program in a suitable programming language starting from examples provided by CO-LaN, or can use a wizard, specifically targeted to a programming language, or can use modelling tools  with a function to export models as CAPE-OPEN Unit Operations. gPROMS is one of these and its use is briefly demonstrated in that context.
