The Methods & Tools Special Interest Group met today from 5:30 pm till 6:50 pm Central European Time.

Agenda

Assessment of progress on COBIA Phase III development

Participants
U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (represented by Bill BARRETT), AmsterCHEM (represented by Jasper van BATEN), Bryan Research & Engineering (represented by Michael HLAVINKA), Michel PONS (contractor to CO-LaN as Chief Technology Officer).

Highlights

In the arrangements made for developing a generic COBIA-based marshaler in COBIA Phase III, a review by Methods & Tools Special Interest Group was scheduled at mid-point in this development. This mid-point has been reached in terms of man-hours spent by AmsterCHEM.

Therefore, Jasper van BATEN described the progress made in the implementation and explained the latest modifications brought to the design of marshalling for COBIA. The design document has been updated accordingly. There is no blocking issue detected so far. However, at this stage, some uncertainties remain in the design of the communication protocol and consequently in its implementation.

Methods & Tools Special Interest Group will meet next on September 22, 2021.
