Abstract:
“The CAPE-OPEN project proved the feasibility of defining an interface standard between the various software components taking part into a process simulator. The Global CAPE-OPEN project promoted the first commercial releases of CAPE-OPEN compliant process modelling environments and components. With both projects finished, the impetus to implement the various parts of the CAPE-OPEN standard is growing up. A list is drawn up of all implementations of the CAPE-OPEN standard known to the CAPE-OPENLaboratories Network (CO-LaN). It concerns products from major and niche software suppliers as well as end-users initiatives.”
