During its monthly meeting, held in Asmterdam, CO-LaN Management Board reviewed the application received from Upstream Developmernt and Engineering Inc. (referred to as UDE).
Founded in May 2010, now located in Brooklyn, NY, UDE primarily provides design and engineering services for oil and gas processing facilities for small and large corporations in the US and South Korea. They are, for example, Chevron, DSME, Mustang, Technip (through DSME) and GS E&C.
UDE performed basic and detailed engineering of NGL extraction, gas to liquid (GTL/DME), LNG plants and large overpressure protection systems, mainly for offshore FPSOs. UDE is currently focused on renewable energy and power plants.
All tasks performed by UDE require process simulators and other software. UDE believes that interoperability between applications will enhance their knowledge of mass transfer mechanisms, improve their simulation skills and contribute enormously for developing concepts of new processes.
CO-LaN Management Board approved the application of UDE as a Corporate Associate Member in category C.
Joon H. SONG, President of UDE, will represent UDE within CO-LaN.
