On March 11, CO-LaN Management Board approved the application for Corporate Associate membership received from ECA Engineering Aps.
Operating from Aalborg, in Denmark, ECA Engineering is a small one-man company represented by Dr Jens Peter HANSEN.
ECA Engineering has established great co-operations with Aalborg University and the Technical University of Denmark as well as with some companies supplying different types of process equipment. Within these collaborative projects, ECA Engineering is looking into carbon capture possibilities, and would like to set up a simulation model for the amine absorption / stripping process, ideally defining a unit operation which can be applied in other projects as well. CAPE-OPEN comes handy for that.
