Back on April 2, 2019, CO-LaN Management Board took the decision to award consultancy services to Heat Transfer, Inc. (HTRI) and to KBC Advanced Technologies.

As of today both actions are contractually in place: CO-LaN and AmsterCHEM have both signed the contracts through which AmsterCHEM will guide and support both software vendors, will explain to them how to make use of COBIA middleware and will review as necessary their code implementing COBIA.

These two actions represent a major investment by CO-LaN (8% of its annual fee revenues) in both the increase of CAPE-OPEN based components offered by the process simulation software market as well as an assessment of the COBIA development project and its adequation to the needs expressed by developers.
