Does CO cover CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics)?

Not explicitly, although the “distributed parameters interface” will be of interest to CFD vendors. There is already interest from CFD vendors in wrapping their products to make them CO-compliant. This is an evolving area and as more information becomes available, we will post it on the CO-LaN web site.
