Logo of AspenTechThe 2019 edition of the OPTIMIZE conference series organized by Aspen Technology, Inc. will start on May 13 and last till May 16 in Houston, Texas.

More than 1000 participants are expected. Among more than 200 papers delivered by Aspentech and its clients, it is worth noticing, in the agenda as of April 12, 2019, a poster titled “CAPE-OPEN Interface Boosts your Engineering Workflow”. It will be presented by BASF: a Unit Operation model containing BASF intellectual property is made available as a CAPE-OPEN Process Modelling Component (PMC) for use in any Process Modelling Environments supporting a CAPE-OPEN Unit Operation socket (includes Aspen HYSYS, Aspen Plus, COFE, DWSIM, Petro-SIM, ProMax, ProSimPlus, PRO/II, UniSim Design, VMGSim, etc…).

CAPE-OPEN has been present in a few editions of OPTIMIZE (and previously AspenWorld) or AES User Group Meetings:

CO-LaN welcomes the opportunity given to BASF, a strong supporter of CAPE-OPEN over more than 25 years, to emphasize how CAPE-OPEN is a key enabling technology. CO-LaN encourages conference participants to visit BASF poster and discuss it.
