Established in 1978, P&I Design Ltd is providing consultancy, engineering design and support services to the process industry. P&I Design Ltd is established in Thornaby, UK.
John Edwards, senior consultant with P&I Design Ltd attended the 5th CAPE-OPEN European Conference in Cambridge, UK on April 3-4, 2008. He exchanged there with Ray DICKINSON (Shell Global Solutions) and mentioned to him that P&I Design Ltd was keen to join CO-LaN.
On April 7, 2008, P&I Design Ltd applied for Associate Membership in CO-LaN. CO-LaN Management Board approved this application on April 8, 2008. At that time John EDWARDS was designated as representative of P&I Design Ltd in CO-LaN and he remained in this position till P&I Design Ltd resigned from CO-LaN on December 22, 2020.
On January 14, 2021 CO-LaN Management Board acknowledged the decision taken by P&I Design Ltd to cancel their membership.
