The Thermo SIG met from 10:30 am till 12:30 (Central European Time).

Outcome: The conference call was entirely dedicated to the review of the Reaction Package interface specification. Progress was made on the section about the Reaction Engineering background. The focus of that section is to summarize the main theoretical concepts of reaction engineering that are relevant to the design of the CAPE-OPEN interfaces addressing reactions. Text on concepts of reaction, material balance, extent ot reaction were finalized with the help of a document provided by Shell Global Solutions. Discussion is underway on enthalpy of reaction.
Version 0.65 of the ChemicalReactionsInterfaceSpec document was developed and made available to CO-LaN members on the repository of the “CAPE-OPEN IDL” project.
