The Methods & Tools Special Interest Group met on March 22, 2017 from 4 pm till 5:30 pm Central European Time.

Agenda: progressing actions of COBIA Phase II project.

Outcome: the document summarizing the changes induced by COBIA Phase II on the CAPE-OPEN interface specifications was further progressed. Version 2 has been developed. It addresses general IDL change decisions, states which data types are considered, and explains why these decisions were taken. It addresses also changes in each interface specification considered within the scope of COBIA Phase II. Current objective is to release the document to CO-LaN Management Board and to the SIGs by the end of March 2017.

Next conference call specifically dedicated to COBIA Phase II is scheduled for April 26, 2017. However it is expected that especially persistence within COBIA will be addressed at the next Methods & Tools monthly conference call in order to respect the project timeline.
