CAPE-OPEN forums are open

The need for the CAPE-OPEN community of users and developers to interact more lively was expressed a number of times. In order to answer this need, CO-LaN has decided to open a set of CAPE-OPEN forums that will permit discussions on various subjects including the interface specifications, how to implement them, the catalog of actual implementations as well as CAPE-OPEN conferences. Additional forums may be open if the need is felt for them.

The CO-LaN membership is also directly benefiting from this new communication tool. Private forums have been set up to help Special Interest Groups with progressing on the tasks assigned to them. Each active Special Group has a dedicated forum viewable to registered forum users while posting in these forums is reserved to the SIG members, at least for a start.

Go to capeopen.forumer.com to have a look at the forums. Registration is available from the forums home page. Welcome to the CAPE-OPEN forums!
