Sasol Technology (Proprietary) Limited has implemented CAPE-OPEN technology in Unit Operations for quite a few years now. In the course of that implementation, Sasol felt the need for a Wizard to ease up the task of making a unit operation model CAPE-OPEN compliant. A Wizard was made for unit operations programmed in Borland Delphi which is the programming language mainly used for that purpose at Sasol.

On December 15, 2006 Sasol Technology has decided to make that Wizard developed by Christo Crause available as open source code at http://sourceforge.net/projects/capeopenwizard. Version 0.1 is currently available.

CO-LaN is grateful to Sasol Technology for making this move. It complements nicely the Wizards existing for Unit Operations in Visual Basic, C++ and FORTRAN.
