The University of Tulsa and especially its research activities in the domain of petroleum engineering (TUWAX and TUFFP consortia) has applied for membership shortly after the visit made there by Michel Pons (), Alain Ricordeau (TOTAL) and Martin Gainville (IFP) early January. The application has now been approved by the CO-LaN Management Board.
