Michel Pons explained what is CAPE-OPEN, what can be done with it and especially gave examples of wrapping up process models for use in process simulation tools. NETRAL is specialized in neural networks and the design of experiments for nonlinear models. The applications cover statistical data processing, classification, modelling, simulation and optimisation of nonlinear phenomena in the industry, R&D and finance.
