Michel Pons has presented CAPE-OPEN at Gaz de France Research Center in Saint Denis La Plaine, nearby Paris on September 20, 2005. About 10 people from Direction Exploration Production as well as from Direction Recherches of Gaz de France attended the meeting that explained what is CAPE-OPEN, what can be done with the standard and how the standard is managed nowadays. A short discussion took place. About Gaz de France: the company distributes natural gas in France, operates gas and oil producing fields in Europe and North Africa and transports liquefied gas to France.
