Project description:
VTT has joined the CO-LaN organization in order to assess the use of CAPE-OPEN for their projects and products related to process simulation. Primary interest is
in the area of unit operation modules and numeric interfaces for dynamic, equation-oriented simulation. As a result, large models, e.g. for nuclear power plants and pulp
and paper mills, could be modularized and development and maintenance could be improved. VTT has build prototypes utilizing CAPE-Open interfaces and next step will be to
build the support for VTT's process simulation product family ABC (Apros - Balas - Chemsheet). |
