Project description: D-SPICE as a CAPE-OPEN-compliant Simulator
Kongsberg Maritime AS is aiming at enhancing its D-SPICE dynamic modular simulator with CAPE-OPEN interfaces. First, D-SPICE will be able
to host CAPE-OPEN compliant units as well as thermodynamic property packages. In addition, it will be possible to plug the complete
D-SPICE simulator as a unit into some other flowsheet. In order to perform this extension, Kongsberg Maritime AS has contributed to further
developments of the CAPE-OPEN standard, making it possible to use the dynamic modular simulation scheme in CAPE-OPEN-compliant
simulation software. |
