Project description:
Air Liquide is interested in using CAPE-OPEN in the area of thermodynamic properties and unit operations to improve the engineering
processes for its core business to supply technical gases such as oxygen, nitrogen, hydrogen and others to many different industry
branches. It is regarded important to use commercial thermodynamic properties packages (like the ones from ProSim) within process
simulators (e.g. Hysys). Further, unit operations tailored to processes developed by Air Liquide (e.g. for hydrogen production) are an
important value for customer as a licensee of a process. Although the CAPE-OPEN standard is not yet widely applied within Air Liquide,
it is already seen as an important step to increase the efficiency of CAPE tools. |
